LAWSUIT IN SPAIN: MERCURY IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN VACCINES
 
Several Spanish Associations will sue (in July 11th 2008) the Spanish Department of Health for ignoring the harmful effects of the mercury present in dental fillings and vaccines.

The reason for this Lawsuit
 
On February 15, 2008, several Spanish associations [AVA (an association against autism: www.autismoava.org) and ANDECO (an association that works to protect the environment and health through the promotion of ecotourism: www.ecoturismoenandalucia.org), in close collaboration with ALDIS (an association for the prevention and healing of children's diseases: www.antonioaaron.com/aldis.htm) as well as several members of MERCURIADOS (an association comprised by people affected by the mercury found in dental amalgam and other sources: www.mercuriados.org)] announced in a press conference in Barcelona that they will sue the Spanish Department of Health (before the end of 2008) for using Ethylmercury (Thimerosal) in their vaccination campaigns and for allowing the use of dental amalgam containing metal mercury. They will also sue the laboratories that made the vaccines for including a component which is highly harmful to health. Compensatory damages will be asked for the patients whose health has been damaged. AVA and ANDECO have hired the services of Mr. Felipe Holgado Torquemada, a prestigious lawyer in Spain (who is a expert in Health Law with several notable accomplishments in that field), supported by his lawyer's office and an outstanding national medical team.
 
Mercury is a substance that is highly harmful to health, and can cause serious problems, such as Autism, Infertility, Depression, Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Intestinal Candida, Alzheimer, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Learning Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Parkinson's, and an endless list of other diseases. Those diseases put a halt to the patient's (and his/her family's) usual lifestyle, ending up in serious disabilities or even death.
 
We were never warned by any health authority of the dangers posed by the mercury present in dental fillings and vaccines. Now that we, or our loved ones, are suffering from the effects of this toxic substance, the health authorities are just "turning a blind eye."  (www.ecoportal.net/content/view/full/77499). There is no consensus among health professionals and investigators regarding the damage caused by the mercury present in dental fillings and vaccines (remember that, in the past, there was no unanimity either regarding the effects of DDT, tobacco, asbestos, etc.). Even though, in a situation such as this one, applying the "Precautionary Principle" is the least they can do, especially since there are good alternatives to amalgam dental fillings that do not contain heavy metals and mercury (the most toxic substance after radioactive materials).
